​WELCOME!

​

In 2004, we acted on an idea to host an annual Atlantic University Sport Golf Classic. But we did not want to host just any golf tournament. Our vision was to create a golf event that participants, partners and—of course—our members, would want to support for many years. Our philosophy was simple: we decided we would eliminate all the things we didn’t care for about the average golf tournament.

Our belief was that if we treated each and every participant as our guest, we would have something that everyone would want to participate in year after year. Rather than asking something of participants on every hole, we decided we would give back to the participants at every hole. We would host the event at a five-star golf course—the beautiful Glen Arbour, limit the number of teams to keep the pace of play reasonable, and ensure no participant left empty-handed. We’d provide an upscale post-golf event while also ensuring everyone was on their way home in under eight hours.

This is the event we set out to create in 2004. Fourteen years later, the majority of teams and partners involved in that inaugural AUS Golf Classic continue to be involved, and our event continues to grow and improve every year.

With the support of our great partners (in particular, the unwavering support of our title and founding partner: Labatt), we have created a unique annual event from which the proceeds go each year towards supporting university sport and our outstanding student-athletes.

We invite and welcome all who have yet to experience a Michelob Ultra AUS Golf Classic to join us as a team or as a partner. And we welcome back and thank our many returning attendees and supporters for another great year.
